Haynesville – Free Screening in Austin on 10/26

There will be a free screening of Haynesville at the AT&T center on the UT campus on October 26th at 530pm (reception – screening begins at 630). The screening is open to anyone and everyone, but seating is limited.

Haynesville is a documentary on the discovery of the Haynesville shale. Providing arguably more even-handed and fair coverage of the Haynesville shale discovery and what it has meant to the people living in that region of northwest Louisiana and east Texas, it is one of most engaging documentaries on an energy topic that I’ve watched in awhile. Haynesville definitely excels at making this complex energy topic more interesting, accessible, and engaging – which, no offense to Al Gore or the folks from A Crude Awakening, is definitely not an easy feat.
